This 5XL is not an easy-use knife. The CPM 3V steel holds very high toughness and strength, while the amber-dyed maple burl fills out your grip fully. Many of my pieces have a thinner handle for maneuverability; however, this piece has a full-size handle for a very secure and comfortable use under immense pressure. The spine of this piece is left sharp, while still being mirrored, to allow for scraping.
