The FreeBird was designed to be the optimal bird & trout knife, specifically for turkeys. With the small bones and fine areas when processing birds, the FreeBird needed to have a very precise tip and less belly to be able to work and carve.

The FreeBird I have made in either a hidden tang or a full tang model, which changes the overall weight, depending on personal preferences. With a 3.5" blade and 8.25" overall length, this piece is very slim but long enough for many tasks.
