The Splinter was originally drawn to be a smaller version of my Kindling 4XL. The Kindling line is slightly taller, where the Splinter is 0.5" shorter and thinner, with a 3.5" Blade and 8.25" overall length. The piece makes for a fantastic EDC or compact hunting knife with a deep belly and long slicing edge. With a slim handle, maneuverability is still very easy.
