This piece has an extended handle for the size of the cutting edge, but that's for a reason! with an extended handle it allows for multiple hand positions, grip styles, and hand sizes for what ever task you are doing. If you need to reach forward or chock up and guide the tip with your finger, all is possible. The handle is made from curly maple with a copper bolster and NitroV steel taken to 62 HRc. It comes with a custom leather pocket sheath.
