Trail Fire
All the knives in the 'Trail Fire' line feature a 'rough and rugged' forged texture. The hammer marks are purposely left when forged into the blade for a dramatic and random look. Because of the randomness, every blade is unique. Most of the knives within Trail Fire are bushcraft-specific knives such as the knives inspired by the puukko and Otzi the Iceman. The Otzi and Puukko of the Trail fire knives are designed in collaboration with MaritimeSpook who originally asked for these ideas to be created.
Otzi Inspired
This knife is inspired by the famous knife that Otzi the Iceman carried. This knife has an 80CrV2 blade and teak underneath the epoxy-soaked jute twine wrap for a full and textured grip. The G10 tube in the back is perfect to attach a lanyard or piece of paracord to. Underneath the jute twine is a brass pin to create a second mechanical bond which is added to the G10 tube and the G-Flex epoxy chemical bond.
Puukko
This knife is designed after a Puukko knife style and is part of my 'Trail Fire' line. The 80CrV2 steel blade is complemented by OD canvas micarta scales, black G10 liners, and G10 hardware. Puukkos are the bushcrafter's best friend for making fires, chopping wood, preparing food, carving, and much more. The design of the handle makes it able to be held in many different grips for the task at hand.
